[Xastir-Dev] Transparency?

I remember reading a while ago that someone was working on transparency
in maps. I think the idea was that the background of, for example,
weather radar images could be transparent.

I was just looking through the code to see the various options supported
in the .geo files, and there are some I didn't understand, but none
labelled "transparency" or similar.

Is that feature in place?
