Changed the leading "09" and "10" to "17" and sucked them in as a
log file.  They showed up just fine as a red area on the west side
of Florida and red area in the middle of Florida.

Are you on a filtered feed?  Perhaps they're getting filtered out
accidentally by the filtering software?

Can you try the same trick, bringing them in as a log file in Xastir
to see if they show up on yours?

I'm going to separate them into two files in a minute and try them
separately, just to make sure I'm seeing both properly.
