[Xastir-Dev] "make dist" doesn't work

In anticipation of fixing the remaining bugs in configure.ac I
figured I'd bump the rev number up to 1.1.4 and get ready to do the
next development release, modifying my release script to use "make
dist".  This is what I'm getting after running
"bootstrap.sh;configure;make;make dist":


  > make dist
  make: *** No rule to make target `ltconfig', needed by `distdir'.  Stop.


Are we missing something else in configure.ac?
