The configure.ac that is in CVS will not work either of my Mandrake systems (8.2 and 9.0). Here is the diff to make it work: 22c22 < AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h) --- > AM_CONFIG_HEADER([config.h]) I just had to remove the [ and the ] which it seemed to be treating as literals. -Jim
