[Xastir-Dev] Performance patch in CVS

Carl Makin sent me a patch which fixes some timeout problems that have
been causing xastir to run with ninety-plus percent of the CPU.
Now it's a more reasonable six to twelve percent, and there's no
decrease in performance visible to me or to him.
The patch has been committed, so if you want to spare some cycles,
rebuild from CVS at your leisure.
