I'm seeing the same effect here. My screen today (running internet 
interfaces and pulling in "finger all.aprs at wxsvr.net>weather.log") looks

I see only the occasional flood advisory, not a single warning shows in 
the view|wx alerts menu. Clock is set to EDT.
