I'm building shapelib-1.2.10.tar.gz from the copy on my FreeBSD box as
shapelib.maptools.org seems to have disappeared.

I get the following errors:

dbfopen.lo(.text+0xd08):/home/jmt/shapelib/shapelib-1.2.10/dbfopen.c:716: undefined reference to `__getreent'

Moments earlier, the following message appeared:
