Having someone else double check can't hurt, I suppose.

here's what I sent Tom earlier:

looks like simply:

./configure --with-bdb-incdir=/sw/include/db4

or a

ln -s /sw/include/db4/db.h /sw/include/db.h

works.

One might argue that this is a "bug" with this particular fink package, I
suppose.
