[Xastir-dev] Possible to get rid of Xastir/m4/ directory?

I got Xastir to compile w/o it now. Files changed:
modified: Makefile.am
modified: configure.ac
deleted: m4/Makefile.am
deleted: m4/xmhtml.m4
Anyone know if we actually need the m4 directory and contents?
