[Xastir] Question/suggestion

Gerry,

Your description of the various programs involved in a "rewrite" of Xastir
is very good, but I think you missed one of the most important pieces that
brings things together.  Instead of having the UI (drawing part) being
talked to by the various data gatherers (RF, Net, Weather, etc.) everyone
talks to a database in the middle.  This database is given the latest data
by the data gatherers and provides it to anyone who asks (UI1, UI2, web
UI, command line programe, whatever).  With all authoritative data in one
place instead of spread out in the gatherers you can have multiple UI's at
once, etc.
