It might be specific to how your keys are mapped into the system, so
for different keyboard layouts or different translations that you
have enabled, it might change how this functions.

The basic problem is that we look for certain keys to be pressed and
intercept them.  If a modifier is enabled, it passes us a different
keycode, so we miss it.
