Subject: [Xastir] Archive of map data sites sorted by locale

Lots of people seem to be announcing their discovery of free (beer and
speech) mapping data for their location. It might be useful for some
of this information to find its way into the web site so as to
minimize the duplication of effort. I know how to find DRGs of Texas,
for example, due to the efforts of one of the list members. It would
be nice to find decent maps for California without searching through
the list archives, and I'm sure other locations have also been
mentioned over time.

Has anyone been keeping track of these URLs to the point of being able
to populate a page on the web site with this information? If not, is
there sufficient interest in such a page?

Jack.
