[Xastir] Compile problem...

I have both packages installed, but I'm still getting some funny errors when I try and compile.

Thousands of lines of " undefined reference to `_XmStrings'"
list_gui.c, interface_gui.c, several other *_gui.c files I think, and main.c, all throw this error, or "undefined reference to `X
mTextFieldGetString'", or something similar.
Does that sort of thing for thousands and thousands of lines, before printing this: "collect2: ld returned 1 exit status" and exiting.

openmotif eh? If I apt-get install that, is it going to cause any problems with other software?
Not that it matters.. I just tried it, (yes, got the -dev too) and the compile throws the same errors. Oh well. Guess I have openmotif now. Something good (?) has come of this. :-)
