[Xastir] Debugging Topo files...

Hello all,

I've managed to get most of xastir working under a clean install of Suse 9.0
using the add-ons downloadable from Curt's WetNet directory.

However, until I deleted my Topo subdirectory under the Maps (same directory
worked under Suse8.2 + stuff), any attempt to index or reindex maps resulted
in a SegFault.

The startup reports being able to handle the following types:

gnis,both types of map, pdb, Image Map geo and URL geo, shp, tif, and xpm.

The one note is that I had to use libgeotif 1.1.5 rather than 1.2.0.  1.2.0
compile blows up with a lot of warnings in xtiff.c about excess elements in
scalar initializer.

So the question is, what versions of what files do I need to check and/or
what debug level can I invoke to debug this once I put the topos back?
