If you have other junk in there the CVS doesn't like, you can delete
the whole repository and download it from scratch, or you can do
like I did and manually delete the files, then delete their entries
in CVS/Entries.

You'll need autoconf 2.53 or newer and automake 1.6.3 or newer.

    cvs update
    ./bootstrap.sh
    ./configure
    make
    su (root)
    make install-strip
    chmod 4555 /usr/local/bin/xastir
    exit (from root)
