You need to use the inf2geo script that was updated in Jan 7, 2003.
It's in CVS.

I already worked on this.  It should be fixed.  Grab the latest from
the "Browse CVS" link on Sourceforge, try it, and if that one doesn't
work, please be sure to let me know ASAP.  Thanks!
