[Xastir] New user...

I'm coming into this late, up too early and gotta run.  I can't find the 
original message.

What release and distro?  RH8 is doing some "interesting" things with 
memory management and swap, and requires a LOT more memory than earlier 
versions.  If you did an upgrade instead of a clean install, it could 
have misconfigured your swap...

How much memory, how much swap?
