When this happens, I'll bet you get a message something like:

	"This thread already has the lock on this resource"

in the xterm you started Xastir from, right?  If so, I think I'm on
to something.  KD7NM has reported this same thing, in some detail.
Next time it happens, please cut and paste the errors/warnings into
and email and send them to me.  Also describe what you were doing or
had just recently done with Xastir.

I suspect it happens when you either change interface settings or
shut down an interface that has active data coming in.   Please let
me know if this always fits the cases where you get this sort of
problem.  If so, I might have partially fixed the problem already.
I have a bit more work to do to make the proper, complete fix though.
