Update to the new code tomorrow sometime (whenever it appears on the
anon CVS server) and do some more testing with that.  We now do a
map draw interrupt for a lot more cases, including TrackMe mode (or
Track Anyone Else mode!), and just request that a new map draw
start.  Later the main loop comes along and starts the map redraw.

I'd be interested to hear whether it works better/worse for you
while mobile.
