[Xastir] xastir hangs

I am running RH9 and xastir 1.1.5 updated using CVS on Monday.  for the
last few days I have been experiencing problems where xastir hangs and
is unresponsive to the X server.  What information do you need to try
and figure out the problem?  The remainder of the system is operational
and works fine.

I should mention there is not TNC, it is internet only traffic and the
maps are stored local on teh disk.  The problem seems to occur
regardless of the map desnity (number of maps and layers) or if the
online tigermap is the only map loaded.

The only solution is to kill xastir and reload.  I can't tell you the
exact amount of time before it becomes unresponsive, but it appears to
be several hours.

the system is RH9 with 256 MB of RAM.  xastir 1.1.4 and the CSV versions
after May 19 is where this seems to originate for me.
