See help|Objects and Items, at the bottom:
"Description of weather watch boxes:
Watch boxes and "areas of maximum concern" (AOMC) generated by the Wxsvr
(http://wxsvr.net/) are colored as follows:
Yellow dashed = Severe Thunderstorm Watch (looks like crime scene tape)
Yellow solid = AOMC for Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Red dashed = Tornado Watch
Red solid = AOMC for Tornado Warning.
Green dashed = Mesoscale (larger) discussion area
Blue dashed = Test Watch
Blue solid = Test Warning"
http://www.wxsvr.net/APRS_Multiline_Protocol.html Is the best source for
that.
As for the version number differences, the anonymous CVS server is
running against a backup server with a ~24 hour delay. According to the
sourceforge site status: "pserver-based CVS access from external hosts
(i.e. not the project shell server) will be served against the backup
CVS server, which contains data roughly 24 hours older than that on the
primary CVS server"
