[Xastir] System power needed

Not sure anymore.  On the most recent laptop I set up to run Xastir,
where I could only carve out about 300 or 400MB for the Linux
partition, I installed Slackware (starting with ZipSlack and then
adding some X packages in).  It was pretty easy to get going that
way.
