Since you're running AX.25, you can turn it off easily too, right?
How about setting up a serial kiss interface, turning off AX.25, and
trying that as well?

No big deal if you can't, I can snag a radio into the house out of
the Jeep tonight/tomorrow and play.  Just might get me the answer
quicker though if you have the time, and I can keep working on other
things.

I'll probably need to do it anyway though, as I want to inject that
problem packet to see what the code does with it now.
