[Xastir] Beginers Book Suggestion...

I have mentioned to a few on the list that I am having a hard time with
Xastir/Linux since all of the books I found are either for someone who
does not know the difference between a hard drive and a floppy, or are
written for administrators that know what they are doing but need help
because of "last night's party".

Last night I found a book that may help others that are somewhat in the
same boat as I, knows DOS and Windows very well and has a basic
understanding of what is needed in Linux. Linux Administration a
Beginners Guide by McGraw Hill/Osborne and written by Steven Graham and
Steve Shah.

The book starts off by telling you that they assume you have a thorough
Win2K or NT background and are migrating over to Linux, just the ticket.
I have not gone in depth yet but reading parts of all the chapters it
seems to be geared just right for many in the ham community who know
computers at an advanced hobby level. Many comparisons are made as to
how windows does it and how linux does it and why. One example was Drive
Mapping vs. Drive Mounting, never had someone explain exactly what
mounting accomplished till' last night and how it is better than
mapping.

Hope some others on the list in the same boat as I can make use of the
lead.Any other suggestions are welcome, we all know that books are not
inexpensive anymore. I have already spent as much on Linux books in the
past month that I would on a nice bare bones system.
