I'm trying to load some vector maps from tiger. I have a bunch of dbf, shp, and shx type files for my area of interest. They are in a folder called cygwin/home/Wes/.xastir/map/roanoke . I have installed shapelib 1.2.10 . I have done the INDEX: Reindex all maps and INDEX:add new maps. Still, they don't show up in the map chooser.... what am I doing wrong?
