I know that the libgeotiff version that you're using (1.2.0 or
pre-1.2.0) has to match the version of tiff that you have
installed. On my SuSE 7.3 Linux I have to use libgeotiff-1.1.5
or earlier. On Cygwin I need to use libgeotiff-1.2.0.

You might try libgeotiff-1.1.4 or 1.1.5 (1.1.5 is available from my
site) to see if most of those error messages go away. Another thing
you might need to do with 1.1.5 or earlier is to grab one file from
the libtiff sources and stick it into the libgeotiff source tree
before you compile.

The problem is that libgeotiff really has to get into the internals
of libtiff in order to do things. Since it's a moving target,
libgeotiff needs to move along with it.
