You can run with Motif, OpenMotif, or Lesstif.  I'd recommend one of
the first two.

More than likely you're being told that the header files (.h include
files) for Motif/Lesstif aren't being found.  You need those in
order to compile _new_ programs that use the widget set.  They're
not needed to just run previously compiled programs.
