Also, if you compiled against Lesstif, I'd suggest getting rid of
lesstif-devel, installing motif and motif-devel, and recompiling
Xastir to use that widget set.  It seems to work a bit better than
Lesstif for Xastir.  I'm also running SuSE 9.0 here.
