Pretty much you do just like the first line says:

"This is a probe message.  You can ignore this message."

Fact that this particular email got through to you without bouncing is
the good part. It helps assure the list manager that you really are
there, are recieving emails and things aren't as bad as the media says
it is. Better yet, it ensures your subscription to the list isn't disabled.

You could hassle your email server's manager types - but it'd likely not
do much good. Verizon, I'm sure, is way concerned with user complaints -
as much as any other big name outfit. (why I'm going to switch to my OWN
$%!! eamil server here sooner than later! I'm get'n way tired of the
arrl.net forwarder's probs.)
