[Xastir] Cannot get tif file into Map Chooser

Are you doing the reindex new or the reindex all option?  Since the
timestamp on the map index is now newer than the files, you either
have to reindex all or touch the map files so that you update their
timestamp.

Are you getting any error/warning messages from Xastir when you try
to reindex, in the xterm you started Xastir from?
