[Xastir] Motif Question

I once was able to compile xastir on my SuSE 9.0 machine. I ended up
reinstalling the OS after some frustrating moments with it dealing with my
sound cards...

Anyway, now when I do a ./configure it says that Motif is not installed. I
check in YaST and every indication I have is yes, it is in fact loaded... Any
ides why reloading the OS would make OpenMotif virturally disappear???
