[Xastir] Still getting crashes

This is an update of our problem with Xastir-1.2  on a Suse 8.2 system. We 
have done memtest86 and show zero errors.   But when we changed our kpc3 tnc 
to serial KISS mode we still get crashes but so far they are now only 
"Segfaults" and none of the X errors that we were seeing with non-KISS .
