[Xastir] Can't connect to internet server.

Thanks Curt & Gerry for the replies.

1) I double & triple checked the spelling of aprswest.net, all OK
2) I do run Xastir as chmod 4555. (I keep Xastir up 24/7 connected to an
AX.25 TNC)
3) I tried aprswest.net:10151 (a non-filtered port) with the same results.
4) I agree, it looks like a DNS problem, I just can't figure out why it
only seems to affect Xastir. My web browser (Dillo) works fine, and I can
telnet to aprswest.net, so DNS must be working somewhat.

I am using Xisp to dial into my ISP and it is configured for ISP assigned
DNS servers. I gather it writes the assigned servers to /etc/resolv.conf
upon connect and removes them at disconnect. When I get a chance, I'll
manually set the DNS servers in resolv.conf and give it another try.
