That's not Xastir code, as we don't have an "error.c", and we dont'
have "ThrowException".  That sounds like a C++ or Java routine, and
is most likely inside ImageMagick or one of the other libraries you
have compiled in.

What sort of maps did you have selected when this happened?  Most
likely Xastir sent something off to one of the libraries that was
outside it's parameters, like a bad pointer, because you didn't have
the proper info to send it due to the reindexing.

Xastir still shouldn't have done that.  If we can track down the
mechanism for the crash, we can solve it.  You've exercised a bug
in the code through a method I hadn't even thought about trying.
One of the benefits of having lots of users out there:  They _find_
things.  ;-)

Wish I could say I've never had it crash.  When I started playing
with it, it was normal to have it crash often.  A few years ago now.
