[Xastir] no apparent map display

Hi All,

I have Xastir 1.3.1 running on a fresh install of Cygwin/WinXP.

No problems connecting to the internet, either.

Yet, when I select Tigermap.geo or terraserver.geo, nothing displays.

There were no significant errors during ./configure, ./make or ./make
install that I could see, no complaints by Xastir on launch.

Any pointers?
