I created  /home/APRS_Maps and  /home/FCC directories and simlink them 
to /usr/local/xastir/maps and /usr/local/xastir/fcc respectively.

It makes it a lot easier to deal with OS upgrades and changes. It even 
survives multiple xastir updates.
