You should be in the directory with the files you want to convert in
this case.

    cd path-to-files
    ./inf2geo.pl map1.inf

It will accept either map1 or map1.inf in this case.  It will create
map1.geo in the same directory.  Make sure you have write
priviledges in that directory.
