[Xastir] Sound/voice questions

Would it be possible to add some code to the ./configure script, or
possibly `make install` which searches for some common audio play clients,
and sets the default to something that actually exists on the user's
machine? Or is there some first-run code in xastir itself that creates
the initial default configuration?
