[Xastir] fGIS for shapefile creation, any good?

Let's say about 99.9% correct.  I seem to remember that there are
collections of objects called MULTIPATCH.  The type of each object
is written into the file as well as the other information.  Xastir
doesn't support those, so it's a moot point.
