I am running Yellow Dog Linux 4.o on a PowerMac G4-450. I am trying to
install Xastir on this machine. I have Xastir running under various
flavors of Linux on x86 machines and have it running on several macs
running MacOS X.

I have the following items installed either via RPM or compiled via
instructions on the install readme:
Festival, GPSMan, ImageMagick, libproj, GeoTiff, GDA,L ShapeLib, pcre

I have the following RPMs installed for ImageMagick:
ImageMagick-perl-5.5.7.15-1.3
ImageMagick-5.5.7.15-1.3
ImageMagick-c++-5.5.7.15-1.3
ImageMagick-devel-5.5.7.15-1.3
ImageMagick-c++-devel-5.5.7.15-1.3

When I run configure I get the following errors:

---snip----

checking for WriteImage in -lMagick... no

xastir will be installed in /usr/local/bin.
Type 'make' to build Xastir (Use 'gmake' instead on some systems).

I have tried make and gmake and still come up with the same errors:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lexif
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
gmake[3]: *** [xastir] Error 1
gmake[3]: Leaving directory `/home/source/Xastir/xastir/src'
gmake[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/home/source/Xastir/xastir/src'
gmake[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/home/source/Xastir/xastir'
gmake: *** [all] Error 2

Any suggestions? This is a fresh cvs update not more that 30 minutes
ago.
