[Xastir] KISS Question

Not sure if there is a reason for this, but I
noticed in the KISS string outputted by Xastir, there
is no "closing" C0 to signify the end of the KISS
message.

I see it start out with C0, then the payload just ends
with <LF><CR>. I noticed that my Paccomm TNC(running
KISS) was sending packets basically delayed by one
as well as the station light was always illuminated.
In
comparing the KISS standard and other APRS programs
in KISS mode this seemed to be the answer.

Anyway, didn't know if it was a bug or intentional,
so that's what I'm really asking....?????
