[Xastir] Trails not being drawn.

Thanks for the feedback Gerry,

I run the following:-
FC3 with latest updates.
xorg-x11-6.8.1-12.FC3.21
and xastir142-2005-Mar-17 built from sources.
I should try and verify on an old Redhat 9 machine (as the X display) as
it worked fine then.

It's got me stumped. Trail plots are one of my favourite features of
Xastir so I am really keen to fix this!
