ALTNET's.  Be careful enabling this (the togglebutton right above
it) as it'll make you transmit to that callsign as well as only show
received packets that are using the same ALTNET.  You can put in
"APX15" to see which stations are running the latest Xastir for
instance.

You don't.  It's on the feature request list.  I suppose if you're
running AX.25 kernel networking in Linux you could use the "beacon"
command to hand-craft an APRS bulletin.
