I forgot to mention that links to the APRS spec and the APRS spec
addendum are at the bottom-middle of the Xastir home page.

There's also a link to the OpenTrac spec listed there.  We have
partial decode capability for OpenTrac packets in Xastir, assuming
you're using a TNC or AX.25 interface that is capable of receiving
the binary packets.
