This weekend I tried to use Xastir with my D700 for the first time. I
configured ot as a "Serial TNC w/GPS on a HSP cable", I used the
tnc-startup.d700 startup file.

The GPS was spitting out data (the D700 was sending proper packets when in
APRS mode), but with Xastir attached, it said that it did not get valid GPS
location.

Am I missing something? The GPS that I am using is a Garmin GPS II+.
