[Xastir] Make file

Sorry for being terse, but I'm not sure what more context I can add? I 
DLed the cvs, ran ./bootstrap.sh, ./configure, and the get-maptools.sh, 
and they all seemed to run ok. Then I issue the make command, and this 
is the result:

darryl at Chatto:~/src/xastir$ make
bash: make: command not found
darryl at Chatto:~/src/xastir$

For giggles I tried "sudo make" which had the same result.

I looked in Xastir's summary.log, and didn't see anything alarming there.
