[Xastir] Mac and GPS (was: Linux Standard Base Xastir Binary)

Hmmm. I like the sound of this. I haven't had any success in adding  
GPSMan to my system. But I see that gpsbabel is available via Fink  
(package management system). So the question is this, if you add  
gpsbabel support for LSB, will it be available as an option for Mac  
(and other) users? That would make Xastir that much more powerful for  
my system of choice.

Here's what my system has:

Currently not an option for Mac systems.

No success in building these two into my system.

If it's the old method, why would I want? Never tried to build.

Why two methods of Debug? I have profiling in stead. No idea how to  
control or use it yet, but some time I'll get around to it.

Don't have Linux, so no issue.
