Is that an accurate representation of the events?

Derrick has processed the complete set it in the past and offered to
do it again a while back.  When you (and perhaps another) offered, I
suggested coordinating with Derrick so that nobody's stepping on
toes/duplicating efforts.

The important thing is to get it done, it doesn't matter much who
does it.
