The stuff I've been taking you through will get you a compiled
Xastir, but with XPM support instead of ImageMagick, which is
probably not what you're going to want when you're all done.  The
problem I'm working on does need to be solved too, but you don't
need to be the one to help solve it.  For that matter, I believe I
have it solved anyway.  I'll commit the changes to CVS when I've got
it tested further.

See the other message from Bob Nielsen regarding the three packages
you should have installed.  Add those packages:  The unmodified CVS
code should compile for you w/ImageMagick support and you should be
up and running in short order.
