[Xastir] Problem under debian "Etch"

Looks good, and the files is readable.

Now try this:

    cd
    mv .xastir .xastir.save
    xastir &

See if when xastir starts up it builds a default ~/.xastir heirarchy
and is able to start up ok.  If so, you have a corrupt config file
in ~/.xastir.save/config/xastir.cnf

To get back to where you were before you tried the above, do this:

    cd
    rm -rf .xastir
    mv .xastir.save .xastir
